Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Meals: Dinner

Activities: Visit Rolous Group
Welcome you to Siem Reap, a home of Angkor temples, green forest and unexploited nature. Your first destination is Rolous Group. Located in the Hariharalaya - the first capital of Khmer Empire, Rolous group consists of earliest permanent temples: Bakong, Lolei, Preah Ko and tiny Prasat Prei Monti. These all temples were built from the late 9th century with bricks, laterite or sandstone.

In the evening, you have a chance to enjoy the welcome dinner with Apsara dance, the traditional dance of Khmer people.

Day 2: Angkor Temple discovery
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Explore Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
The journey will continue with Angkor Thom - the most enduring capital of Khmer Empire. Bayon Temple is world well-known for its stunning architecture with 54 high towers and giant four-face statues carved on stone. You may feel like stepping into an unreal, a holy world. Go further inside, you may feel breathless by the delicate carved works in Baphou, Elephant Terrace, Lepper King Terrace.

Day 3: Ta Prohm - Tonle Sap Lake cruise
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Discover Ta Prohm, Angkor Wat, Tonle Sap Lake, and Angkor Archeological Park.
In the early morning, tourists will have chance to enjoy the stunning scenery of Ta Prohm at dawn. Then we will go inside the area by a tuk-tuk. Built in the early 13th centuries, Ta Prohm impresses tourists with its exotic and unique scenery: tree grows from ruined temples. The works of nature and human combined to make a masterpiece. Leaving Ta Prohm, we will continue joyful journey to Angkor Wat. Obviously, Angkor Wat is the most famous architectural work in Cambodia which was recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Hindu temple is famous for its unique and sophisticated Angkor architectural style. Magnificent Angkor standing under the light of the sun, reflected in the lake will become tourists' unforgettable memories.

In the afternoon, tourists will enjoy a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake - the biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Being there, you will be able to discover floating villages: floating schools, floating police stations, etc. At the end of the day, we will enjoy the stunning scenery of sunset at Phnom Krom Mountain in Angkor Archeological Park.

Day 4: Siem Reap - Yangon
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Yangon, visit Shwedagon Pagoda.
Let's enjoy in your own way at hotel until your flight time to Yangon. Upon arrival the city, the driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel. On the way, we will stop at Shwedagon Pagoda, the most prominent monument in Yangon city. Tour guide will assure to tell you the relics and history of Yangon through the stories of Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 5: Yangon - Bagan
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Morning flight to Bagan, discover Bagan city, visit some famous temples and pagodas in Bagan.
Located on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, Bagan is home of the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world. Upon arrival you will have chance to visit Shwezigon pagoda, Ananda, Gubyaukgyi Htilominlo and Sulamani temple. Tour guides will give you all the different aspects, architectural styles, and history of each temple. Let's take a short time to enjoy the sunset of the Bagan's solemn ancient monument.

Day 6: Bagan local Life
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Visit Nyang U Market, Manuha village, enjoy the beautiful sunset along Irrawaddy River.
In order not to miss an opportunity to visit Nyaung - U local market, we have to get up early in the morning and move to there. In the market, you can see the locals in their traditional costume exchanging their goods and products bustlingly. Then, we continue Manuha village, the home of farmers who produce cigar and peanut oil.

After lunch break, we continue to the lacquer painting making village by bicycle. Being famous with the beautiful lacquer paintings sold in both domestic and foreign market, the village attracts thousands of visitors every year. At the end of the day, enjoy a nice sunset when we cycle along Irrawaddy River.

Day 7: Bagan - Inle Lake
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Heho, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, silk village, and cigar making houses.
After breakfast at hotel, we take a flight to Heho and drive to Inle Lake, our sightseeing place for the day. It can be said that Inle Lake is beautiful as "Venice of Myanmar". On the surface of the lake, you can see floating villages, floating gardens, floating markets, several traditional villages such as forging, weaving and so on. The most special sight on Inle Lake is floating gardens where the local use the water hyacinth combining with seaweed on the bottom of the lake to keep the soil to grow more vegetables such as tomatoes, mint. Up and down the lake have many temples, monasteries with golden pinnacles brightening on the sunlight. We also meet some local fishermen to witness their unique leg-rowing.

On the Inle Lake, we visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where houses the five Buddha images. These images are covered with gold in order to make visitors not be able to see the original form. Leave Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, we continue to silk village and cigar making houses.

Day 8: Inle Lake - Indein -Yangon
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Visit local market, Nyang Shwe tow, and fly to Yangon.
It would be a shortcoming if we go to Inle Lake without visiting the local market. This is one of the best opportunities to see hill tribe's people in their traditional dresses coming down, bring their handmade products to exchange with others.

In the afternoon, we visit Nyang Shwe town before returning to Heho for a flight back to Yangon city.

Day 9: Yangon city tour - Departure
Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Visit Sule pagoda, Bristish Colonial Buildings, China town, and Scott market.
Before transferring to the airport for the departure flight, we have time to discover the highlights of Yangon city. Our first stop is Sule pagoda which contains a hair given by the Buddha to two Burmese merchants. We continue to British Colonial Buildings including City Hall, Emmunuel Church and Strand Hotel. Then, we wander around the China town to discover the very different lifestyle among the city. Lastly, we head to Scott Market, the biggest market in Yangon where we can find many handicraft products like gems and wood carving.
